Dundee
For the 2024/25 entry, the University of Dundee's BDS Dentistry program has the following entry requirements:
Academic Qualifications:
Scottish Highers: AAAAB at the first sitting, including Biology (preferably Human Biology) and Chemistry.
Advanced Highers/Highers in 6th Year: BBB, which should include Advanced Higher Biology or Chemistry.
A-Levels: AAA, including Biology and Chemistry.
UCAT: All applicants must sit the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test). While there is no set minimum UCAT score, performance in the UCAT is considered during the selection process.
2. Widening Access:
For applicants under the widening access criteria, the required grades at Higher level may be slightly lower (AAABB). Additionally, Advanced Higher or Higher Biology or Chemistry is still required.
3. Interview:
Selection for an interview will be based on academic performance and UCAT scores.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: Overall 7.0, with no less than 7.0 in each component (writing, reading, listening, and speaking).
