For the 2024/2025 entry into the undergraduate Dentistry program at the University of Leeds, the following entry requirements apply:
A-levels: Applicants need AAA, including Biology and Chemistry. A pass in the practical elements of these subjects is also required.
GCSEs: A minimum of six GCSEs at grade 6/B or higher is needed, including Chemistry, Biology (or Dual Science), English, and Maths.
UCAT: All applicants must take the UCAT in the year of application. The UCAT score is considered in the selection process.
Alternative Qualifications:
BTEC: Acceptable with specific conditions, such as a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science with D*DD.
International Baccalaureate: A minimum of 35 points, with higher-level Chemistry and Biology scores of 6.
Health and Disclosure Requirements: Applicants must pass health checks and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) screening.
